Sorry everyone, but interest in the 2017 Jazz Festival Ball was decidedly underwhelming so we have had to pull the plug.

Following on from last year’s inaugural Jazz Festival Ball, held on the Thursday night prior to the start of the festival, we will once again hold another ball. It’s a black tie or jazz costume event, and if you love to dance, love the big band sound and enjoy a night of good food and cabaret then it’s not to be missed. (click on the poster to see the full size image) This year we are pleased to announce that the Festival Ball will be held on Thursday, 8 June at the Merimbula RSL Club, well-known for its high quality dining. So why not add an extra day onto your holiday and be part of this very special event where the Festival All Stars big band under the guidance of Paul Dion will be ready to get you up and dancing. Bookings can be made at the RSL Front Desk, or phone 02 6495 1502 Doors open at 7pm for a 7.30pm start. For the excellent value ticket price of $75pp, you will be treated to a 3 course meal while listening and dancing to some great music. The menu for the ball is: Entree – Asian Pork Belly and Red Pepper Calamari with Crisp Noodle Salad and Nam Jim Sauce
Main – Tequila and Lime Marinated Lamb Rump with Pommes Lyonnaise and Pepper Cream Sauce or Grilled Swordfish with Melon Salsa, Herb Butter Crushed Potato and Beurre Blanc (alternate serve)
Dessert – Flourless Orange Syrup Cake with Quenelle Pure Cream and Balsamic Strawberries or Tiramisu with Gourmet Ice Cream and Frangelico Sauce (alternate serve)
