Merimbula RSL

RSL Function Room

The RSL Function Room is one of our bigger venues, which will showcase many of this year’s big bands, alongside a select mix of other styles to add variety across the program.

Maple Leaf Room

Featuring a beautiful grand piano, the Maple Leaf Room offers an intimate and secluded setting within the RSL, making it perfectly suited to mainstream jazz performances. Find this venue tucked away downstairs near the back carpark.

Club Sapphire

The Auditorium

Want to see big bands back to back? The Audi is the place to be – it has ample seating and a good sized dance floor.

Kitty’s Bar – New for 2026

Located in Club Sapphire, join us at the intimate Kitty’s Bar speakeasy. Serving modern asian cuisine, it’s the place to be for dinner, delicious drinks and some cool jazz.

Twyford Hall

Situated in the centre of Merimbula, Twyford Hall is the heart of the festival. This was the first jazz festival venue in 1981 and is known as the “home” of trad jazz at the festival.

2026 update: The hall is part of the new Twyford Theatre. Entry is on Market Street via the large metal door for both musicians and ticket holders.

Lakeview Hotel

Want beautiful lake views, great food and jazz? Look no further than The Lakeview Hotel – it is the place to hear modern and mainstream jazz during the festival.

Dulcie’s Cottage

It’s intimate, cosy and uber-cool. Dulcie’s Cottage is an original weatherboard cottage, built in 1925 by Arthur and Dulcie Goodsill which has been reimagined into a watering hole that serves burgers, cocktails and craft beers. Dulcie’s will host our smaller jazz groups over the weekend but feel free to pop in anytime.

St Joseph’s Church

St Joseph’s is the spiritual home of the Ecumenical Service, held on the festival Sunday. This is also the location for the gospel vocal workshop and performance.
