New to the Merimbula Jazz Festival?

Welcome to the 43rd Merimbula Jazz Festival. If you would like our newsletters sent directly to your inbox, subscribe here.

The wonderful musicians who take part in the Merimbula Jazz Festival perform a wide range of jazz styles from trad through to swing, modern and fusion; there’s something for everyone.

We also want to throw a few other temptations your way.

The wonderfully wild Sapphire Coast where the Merimbula Jazz Festival takes place is known for its award-winning Sydney Rock oysters. There are internationally recognised boutique distilleries, and a range of restaurants and cafes which have gathered many accolades for their cuisine.

Want to stretch your legs between sets? Check out some of the attractions in the local area.

How do I get my pass?

Even though you may have a digital pass on your phone, you will need to get a badge to allow you to move freely between our venues. When you arrive to come to the Jazz Office next to the Visitor Information Centre in Market Street. If you have pre-booked your weekend pass it will be waiting for you. Give your name and in return you will receive a badge and a program booklet. Weekend passes are also available to buy at the Jazz Office during opening hours. The badge is your entry into any one of seven jazz venues, two in Club Sapphire, two in the RSL Club, Twyford Hall, the Lakeview Hotel and Dulcie’s Cottage over the weekend.

I’m not here all weekend

No problem – we have session passes for individual afternoons or evenings. Talk to the helpful volunteers in the Jazz Office who will be able to advise you. Trad bands tend to be in Twyford Hall and Big Bands in either Club Sapphire auditorium or the RSL Club function room. Enjoy your visit.

Looking forward to seeing you in Merimbula!
